Mercer County’s Jesse Van Den Berg Named GSAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

The Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) has named Jesse Van Den Berg, a sophomore midfielder from Mercer County Community College, as the Men's Soccer Player of the Week for his outstanding performance.

Van Den Berg led the Vikings to two dominant victories, recording three goals and one assist across the week. He netted a hat trick and added an assist in Mercer's 6–1 win over Monroe on September 11, before helping his team secure a 7–1 road win at Lackawanna on September 13.

His dynamic playmaking and scoring ability were instrumental in Mercer's strong offensive showing, making him a key contributor in both matches.
